Our Approach
Maintaining a balance
Intensive Marketing courses are designed for students who already
have a busy work schedule and don't want commit to attending
college two evenings a week (6 hours each week*).
Our courses are delivered using ‘blended learning’ where you will be
provided with a structured programme to fit in with your work and
home commitments.
A typical Intensive Workshop module will consist of e-lessons
followed up with three intensive study days (Saturdays) where you
can cement your private study alongside link-minded individuals.
Our client said... " A really important factor to me was that the
study sessions were held on a Saturday making it easier for me to
manage coursework along with my work commitments."

A growing number of students are taking the Distance Learning method
of study. This still has the high quality materials available
through our virtual learning environment - Moodle - but is
supplemented with web meetings and conference calls so the key
points are not missed.
Studying using Intensive Workshop or Distance Learning means you have the advantage of choosing
which days to study on. It also means you will spend less
time travelling to a study centre during the week. All this gives
you extra time to undertake the background reading and research
required to pass the assessment - little and often is the key.
Self Managed Learning
Your commitment is to be organised, work to reasonable deadlines and
submit assignments on time – we expect you already work in this way
in business. We call this 'Self Managed Learning'.
On starting on of our courses we will provide you a guide to
Self Managed Learning. A useful selection of disciplines, routines
and top tips to help you through the course.
Intensive Marketing lecturers are all experienced marketers and
teachers and so can provide first class support. Likewise we expect
our students to be motivated to study so that they can gain the
benefits that come with achieving a Chartered Institute of Marketing
qualification.
Our client said... " I thoroughly enjoyed the course, although it was hard work – as you
would expect of a Chartered Professional qualification. I achieved
the Best Student for the Thames Valley Branch of CIM for my year." read more
If this professional approach to gaining CIM qualifications sounds
like your way of studying, then we look forward to working with you
at Intensive Marketing.
* 3 Intensive Workshop Saturday sessions will replace the equivalent
of 15 three hour evenings sessions. Therefore a course of 4 modules
within one study level, you will need to attend 12 study Saturdays
compared with a typical evening course of 60 evenings. In most cases
there will be at least a three week gap between Intensive Workshop
sessions.
